Peach Pecan Crisp

Apple crisp was always a standard growing up. Over the past few years I have fallen in love with many other crisps including peach, berry and pear! Here is my favorite Peach Pecan Crisp that is ohhhhh so good!

Peach Pecan Crisp

Delicious Peach Pecan crisp that is awesome alone or with a nice scoop of vanilla bean ice cream!

Peach Mixture

• 4 cups sliced fresh peaches
• 2 tbsp corn starch
• 1 tsp lemon juice
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 tbsp sugar

Topping

• 1/2 cup flour
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup ( 1 stick) cold butter cut into pieces
• 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 cup rolled oats

Instructions

Peach Mixture

1. Mix together in a medium bowl. Pour mixture into an 8 x 8 baking dish or 4-6 individual baking dishes.

Topping First Step

1. Crumble the flour, brown sugar and cold butter pieces together with fingers pinching the butter into small pea size pieces.
2. Add the pecans, cinnamon, salt and oats.

   
3. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until light brown and peaches are tender when poked with a fork.

   
4. Serve warm with ice cream or perfectly satisfying by itself!
