Sue’s Macaron Speech at BeneYou Conference

Isn’t it so awesome that we have the ability to learn pretty much anything we want to? So often we put things on a back burner because we think we don’t have time and other times we might feel like we just aren’t good enough, smart enough, talented enough to accomplish a goal which requires learning something new. It can be scary and this simple macaron story is just a small example showing that if you set your mind to it and you are open to learning from others and honing in on technique, you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to. You may have failures and feel defeated but the only true failure is giving up.

My Mommas Recipe for Joy

Time is not measured by the years that you live,

But by the deeds that you do and the joy that you give.

And each day as it comes brings a chance to each one,

To love to the fullest, leaving nothing undone

That would brighten the life or lighten the load

Of some weary traveler lost on Life’s Road.

So what does it matter how long that we live,

If as long as we live we unselfishly give!
