The Best Ever Salmon

This marinated grilled salmon is so good and so easy to make! I love to make extra and have on hand to eat on toast with ricotta cheese or to put in salads. You can also cook it in a cast iron skillet and it is just as incredible!

The Best Ever Salmon
Delicious Salmon as a main entree with toasted pecans. Use the left overs, if you have any, in other dishes and salads! I love to eat it on a bagel with ricotta!

Instructions
  1. Put all main ingredients into a gallon zip lock bag or sealed container. and flip around to marinate. Place in refrigerator at least 1 hour, preferably 3 hours.
  2. Preheat an iron skillet with oil. Place salmon skin side down and cook until crispy. Flip filet and remove the skin. If it doesn't have skin, just brown each side about 4 minutes, making sure it does not burn.
  3. If you are grilling, preheat grill and cook salmon on a cooking mat or on a grilling pan, sprayed with non stick spray.
  4. Place the extra marinade from the salmon into a small sauce pan, add the glaze ingredients: honey, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Boil 2 minutes until honey is dissolved and blended. If you would like it a little thicker, reduce by cooking a little longer. Toss in roasted pecans and spoon this glaze over the filets. Place a lemon slice on top of each serving.
